What Is Forever Clear?

Forever Clear is a broadband light (BBL) treatment designed to treat acne on the face and body with pulses of intense light (IPL). It’s a noninvasive, low-to-no-downtime way to get rid of acne and the bacteria that cause it for good.

How Does Forever Clear Work To Treat Acne?

Forever Clear treats acne in 3 different steps:

• Cleansing: Blue broadband light reaches deep into your pores to kill acne-causing bacteria at the source.
• Calming: Yellow broadband light calms inflammation and redness to even out your skin’s coloration.
• Healing: Red infrared light stimulates your skin’s natural healing process to give you a healthy glow.

Combine these light therapies, and you’ve got the perfect trio for clearing acne and healing any redness left behind.

Am I a Good Candidate for Forever Clear?

Forever Clear is safe for all skin types and effective for treating active acne, cystic acne, and red marks left behind by acne. It’s generally best to wait 6 months after you stop Accutane® to have this treatment done.

Do Forever Clear Treatments Hurt?

Forever Clear treatments are so comfortable, most people don’t even need a topical anesthetic to stay comfy from start to finish. You might feel a mild sensation like a rubber band snap when the light pulses, but most people find this pretty easy to tolerate. (And we’ve got numbing cream on hand if you need it!)

What Is Recovery Like After Forever Clear?

You’ll be able to return to your routine right away. You might have some mild redness and sensitivity (similar to a sunburn) for a few days, but you can cover this up with makeup so you don’t have to miss out on your usual activities.

Your skin will be extra sensitive to UV rays for 2 to 3 weeks after your treatment, so you’ll need to be as diligent about applying that SPF as ever!

How Long Does It Take To See Results After Forever Clear?

You might notice a difference in your skin the very same day, but the real results show up in about a week. Most people see their best results after a series of 3 or 4 treatments spaced a couple of weeks apart.
