What is Viveve?

Viveve is a one-time treatment option to resolve vaginal laxity, loss of sensation, incontinence, and dryness.  Viveve uses clinically proven cryogen-cooled monopolar radiofrequency (CMRF) to uniformly deliver heating and cooling to the delicate vaginal tissue. This unique technology stimulates the body’s natural collagen formation and restores vaginal tissue.  

How does Viveve work?

During the treatment, heat and cooling are alternated. Thermal energy heats deep into the tissue while cryogen cooling protects the surface layer. There is no injury to the surface layer of tissue, so there is no downtime. You can return to all normal activities immediately after.  Typically, women start to feel results in 30 days and the full effect at 90 days.

What does it do?

Increased collagen leads to stronger, tighter vaginal tissue that is more lubricated.  The strengthened vaginal tissue supports the urethra and reduces stress incontinence (ie: leaking urine when you run, jump, or sneeze).  90 days after treatment you will notice increased friction and pleasure during sexual intimacy, greater bladder control, and more youthful vaginal tissue.

What can I expect on the day of treatment?

The treatment takes about an hour and is painless. No anesthesia or numbing is required. You will be comfortably positioned in a dim room using pillows and cozy blankets and set up with headphones and Netflix.  We offer coffee, sparkling water, and snacks during your treatment. Your dignity and privacy are our top priority.
